inspiration: filippa berg

swedish blogger and stylist (and model?) filippa berg has an inspiring blog which i can't read a word of. She is a muse for australian label Lover, principally for thier Sacred Hearts collection. She dresses real nice, has a leather flying cap, and likes Lauduree. Wish I could understand swedish a bit because I bet she's got some fun stuff written next to her great pictures.

Oh, I found an english interview from Papermag, she is awesome.

House of Aaron Rose

Pennsylvania Deutsch hex signs!?

Boring white walls covered in fantastic art.

I want that couch.

Lilya Brik and My Rasputitsa

Black and white are going to dominate my winter and helping this personal revolution is Lilya Brik. Lilya was a proponent of free love during the early stages of the revolution and a close friend to Stalin. She also took up a love affair with the famous Russian Avant-Garde photographer, Rodenko while still married.
Her dark looks and tendency to dress in dark colors fit not only the constructivist movement of the time, but also my renewed inclination in monochromatics.

Clever Cats

I like living spaces that acknowledge the existence of a pet. Whether it be through a fancy oil painting of the dog wearing a monocle and Edwardian style suit or by placing a portrait of a cat at its level by its food area ( aka dining space! ).
